One of the most important reasons to take the specialty training is to get the feel for several different types of gear, and how to correctly use it. This will also help you decide what systems will meet your future needs.
Your goal is to obtain knowledge about the many advanced diving systems. These skills can only be obtained with
practice and experience.

Would you test drive a car before you spent a lot of money to purchase it?
So, why spend hundreds, or thousands of dollars for specialized equipment
without knowing how well it works, or it can meets your diving needs.
Our training course is fun. It will also save you time & money, because you can actually use, and become familiar with the different types of equipment, and you get to train with it.
Some of this specialized equipment training is completed at the local dive sites, and other equipment requires the deeper depths of lake Travis in Austin.

Useful training for every diver who intends on exotic travel outside the USA. Includes CPR training. Covers first aid and a great deal of marine information. This may include a DAN 02 provider course.
This is required training for most professional & Divemaster ratings.

This teaches you to not only take care of yourself, but other divers as well. This is required for all the higher professional ratings. Good health & excellent water skills are required.

This is a professional career rating. A tough, but rewarding course for those interested in becoming professionals within the scuba industry, or getting paid for services. The responsibility is great, and so are the
rewards. Divemasters are required on almost all dive boats and are used for most organized diving activities at all resorts.
Quality vacation travel is set up and supervised by Divemasters. This specialized course is only offered only twice per/year.
You must already be a very proficient diver, with AOW & Rescue rating to participate. Safety & attention to detail is critical.

This is the road to gain the hands on experience so that you may become an a fully functional scuba Instructor. It takes a lot of time and effort just to get to this point, and you get to work with a lot of nice people along this path. Excellent "people skills" are required for the AI rating, and these are further refined to the professional level.
This professional level of training is NOT available to just anyone, and you must pass extensive testing and be
selected to participate in the professional levels.
You must already be a very proficient and skilled diver, with a PADI Dive Master rating to participate.

Notice: Our training courses are designed and approved for non commercial civilian sport divers.
Do NOT confuse our PADI certified Advanced & Specialty training courses with professional commercial diving, wreck and cave diving, or deep water mixed gas diving operations. These diving activities are extremely dangerous, expensive equipment is mandatory, and may require years of extensive training and to participate in safely.
