How to Turn your old gear into CASH

We can assist you in recycling your old diving equipment into cash. People get old, retire, divorced, quit the sport, girlfriends turn mean and get replaced, or maybe you just need the money for more important things. Storing old equipment you no longer use is foolish. It drops in value, and it can become obsolete in only 3 years. Trying to re-sell used diving equipment yourself can be an expensive and a extremely stressful experience. Consider the high cost of advertising in the newspaper, having a lot of strange people hanging around your home at night wanting to barter prices. Think about the long term liability issues of selling life support equipment that can quickly become a legal nightmare. Selling used products on ebay is a complex process, and actually getting paid for the products is very risky with the flood of counterfeit certified checks, money orders, stolen credit cards, and phony PayPal accounts out there. Many pawn shops no longer purchase diving equipment because the liability risk can be higher than a firearm, and they do not have the expertise to inspect or service it. We have the right tools & technicians to service used equipment, and offer the new buyer a limited product warranty. What is even more important is that we remove YOU the seller and your assets from the chain of liability issues that can haunt you later should your used equipment buyer become injured.

PRE-OWNED BCD: Those BCD's less than 3 years old in good working condition have value. Weight integrated models are popular. Note: Pre-owned Aqualung & Suunto & SeaQuest BCD's products, and any factory ad copy is usually removed from eBay due to copyright issues and assorted legal tricks. Resale value is very low and is always problematic on these brands. We usually have used BCD's CERTIFIED DIVE READY ranging from $65.00 to $200.00

PRE-OWNED REGULATORS: There is a market for used regulators if they are in working condition up to 5 years old depending upon the brand, and current parts availability. Brand name high end models are the best selling products. (See above note concerning Aqualung & SeaQuest products) We usually have CERTIFIED DIVE READY starting at $65.00 and up.

There is a small and narrow market for U/W Nikonos III 35 mm camera bodies and 20 mm wide angle lens & 80 mm telephoto lens in like new condition. Professional Oceanic & Aeris underwater scooters, portable high pressure gas powered Scuba compressors. Working AGA positive pressure & EXO full face masks, commercial diving helmets like Kirby Morgan HeO2 17 band masks, and some early collectable U.S. Divers double hose Royal Aquamaster regulators. Of course, the better the condition, the higher the price.

Scuba Products That Could Have Collectable Value

Original U. S. Navy style MK-5 Deep Sea helmets made from copper & brass that were produced in the USA from the 1940's to the 1950's the have considerable value. Made in Russia, China and Korea clones, and static non-functional display types of helmets have little value. Some items like our James Bond 007 Thunder Ball movie regulator and accessories that have been used in popular movies as props or utilized during film production are valuable only if documentation is included.

These types of items are better sold at "Garage Sales"
